The Small Area Health Insurance Estimates (SAHIE) program provides model-based estimates of health insurance coverage for counties and states. SOURCE: Estimates obtained from models applied to CPS data. Model inputs also include Census 2000 and administrative records data. For information on the data sources, measures of uncertainty, confidentiality protection, and sources of error see SAHIE source and accuracy. The 90-percent confidence interval is a measure of an estimate's variability. The larger the confidence interval in relation to the size of the estimate, the less reliable the estimate.
